Starting on 2 nd July, Kenya Airways will be operating flights to London, Gatwick.

  • Expanded routes into West Africa.
  • Daily flights to London Heathrow and London Gatwick.
  • New interline agreement with WestJet (Canada) – seamless travel between Canada and 36 African destinations.
  • Seasonal frequency reductions (July–Aug 2025) on select routes: Mumbai, Paris, Amsterdam, Bangkok, Lagos, Maputo, Kinshasa

Travel Update: Kenya Airways Cabin Baggage Allowance Change – Effective 1st October 2025

Kenya Airways (KQ) has announced a change in cabin baggage allowance for all tickets purchased from 1st October 2025, applicable on all routes except EU, US, and UK.

New Allowance Guidelines:

  • Business Class (non-EU/US/UK routes): 2 pieces + 1 accessory, max total 18kgs / 39lbs
  • Economy Class (non-EU/US/UK routes): 1 piece + 1 accessory, max total 10kgs / 22lbs
  • EU, UK & US flights: remain unchanged (as per current allowance)
  • Infants (<2 years, no seat): 1 piece up to 12kgs

Oversized or overweight bags will be checked in, and charges will apply.
