Day 1: Arrive Paro — Gateway to the Himalayas
Your adventure begins with a spectacular flight into Paro — one of the most scenic landings in the Himalayas. As you descend, you’ll be greeted by crisp mountain air and sweeping views of snowcapped peaks. After completing immigration, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day exploring Paro town and adjusting to the fresh Himalayan air.

Day 2: Paro — Thimphu (55 km / 1½ hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Bhutan’s capital, Thimphu. En route, stop at Chuzom, where the Thimphu and Paro rivers meet — marked by three stupas in Tibetan, Nepalese, and Bhutanese styles. Visit Tschogang Lhakhang, “the temple of the excellent horse,” built in the 15th century. In Thimphu, visit Buddha Dordenma, King’s Memorial Chorten, and Tashichho Dzong.

Day 3: Thimphu — Punakha (75 km / 3 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Punakha via Dochula Pass (3,080m), offering sweeping Himalayan views. On arrival, visit the stunning Punakha Dzong at the confluence of the Pho Chu and Mo Chu rivers and Chimi Lhakhang (Temple of Fertility).

Day 4: Punakha — Wangdue
Take a short drive to Wangdue, a tranquil town known for bamboo and slate crafts. Visit Wangdue Phodrang Dzong, explore local markets and nearby villages.

Day 5: Wangdue — Phobjikha Valley
Continue to Phobjikha Valley, a glacial bowl famous for the endangered black-necked cranes. Visit Gangtey Monastery, stroll through Gangtey village, and enjoy a Nature Trail walk.

Day 6: Phobjikha — Haa Valley (Approx. 5—6 hrs)
Travel west through stunning mountain landscapes to Haa Valley. Visit Lhakhang Karpo (White Temple) and Lhakhang Nagpo (Black Temple), built in the 7th century.

Day 7: Explore Haa Valley
Haa Panorama Hike through villages and fields, visit Chundu Lhakhang, enjoy a farmhouse visit for butter tea, try archery and khuru (darts), and end with an evening bonfire and dinner.

Day 8: Haa — Paro via Chele La Pass & Tiger’s Nest Hike
Drive across Chele La Pass (3,988m) draped in prayer flags with views of Mt. Jomolhari. Descend into Paro and begin your hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest) perched 900m above the valley floor. Afterward, enjoy leisure time in Paro.

Day 9: Paro — Shopping, Packing & Departure
After breakfast, enjoy last-minute shopping, pack, and prepare for your transfer to Paro Airport.
