Heritage Of The Holy Land Tour

This is an 8 days/7 night’s tour showing you the places Jesus walked in Israel.

Day1: TEL - AVIV

On arrival at Ben-Gurion airport, our representative will be waiting to greet and assist you. You will then be transferred to your hotel located in the heart of Tel-Aviv. You will have the rest of the time at leisure.


On this first day in the Holy Land, enjoy a hearty and a healthy, typical Israeli breakfast at your hotel. After breakfast, we embark on Israel pilgrim tour. We start the day with a short visit to the city of Jaffa (Joppa), the ancient port city. We walk through the tranquil, cobbled alleys of the old town, passing by the house of Simon the Tanner, where St. Peter had stayed. Stop for a panoramic view of the beautiful Mediterranean and the Tel-Aviv coastline.

Drive along the coast to Caesarea, which in the time of Herod the Great was a thriving port city, with temples, baths, public buildings, an amphitheater and a splendid aqueduct is today an impressive archeological site.

Continue to Megiddo, mentioned in the Book of Revelation 16:16, to the place which is called Har-Mageddon" in Hebrew. Overlooking the Jezreel valley, Megiddo is an ancient city, strategically located on the Via Maris, the trade route of ancient times which connected between Egypt and Damascus. After exploring the ancient ruins, we drive towards the Sea of Galilee. We later arrive at Tiberias and check-in to your hotel, will have dinner and the rest of the evening at leisure.


After breakfast, we start the day with a tour of Tiberias Located on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. Tiberias was in ancient times the capital of the Galilee. Our next destination is Capernaum, which Jesus made His home after leaving Nazareth and which became the center of His activity. We then continue to Tabgha, the site of the miraculous feeding of the 5,000, (Mark 6:30-44). We visit the Church of Multiplication, to see the beautifully preserved mosaic floor which depicts a basket with loaves and two fishes.

Our next stop is the Mount of Beatitudes, a serene spot with a magnificent view of the Sea of Galilee. It is here that Jesus preached the famous “Sermon on the Mount”, which opens with the 8 Beatitudes (Matthew 5:3-10). We drive up to the Golan Heights and enjoy a panoramic view of Mt. Hermon and the flourishing Hula Valley, spread out beneath us.

Visit the Yardenit baptismal site, located along the Jordan River, south of the Sea of Galee, ending the day in Tiberias where we will enjoy our dinner and have the rest of the evening at leisure.


After a nice breakfast we embark on a trip to Cana to see the church where the wedding happened and Jesus turned water to wine (John 2:1-11). We continue for a short drive to Nazareth. Lying in the valley among the Galilean hills, Nazareth was the hometown of Jesus, Mary and her husband Joseph. We visit the Church of Annunciation, built on what is believed to be the site where the Archangel Gabriel appeared to the Virgin Mary (Luke 1:26-56). Stop for a visit at Mary’s Well and Joseph’s Church.

We drive through the Jordan Valley to Beit Shean to visit the remains of this magnificent Roman city. Walk through the two impressive colonnaded streets; see the beautifully preserved bath houses, Theater and Roman temple.

We will drive on to Jerusalem, where we will have dinner and spend the rest of the evening at leisure.


After breakfast we drive to Masada, passing through the unique and extraordinary landscape of the Dead Sea. En route to the Dead Sea, we will visit the site of the Qumran Caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Located on a mountain top with a magnificent view of the Dead Sea and the Judean desert, Masada was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2001.

We take the cable car up to the fortress and enjoy the many archeological treasures such as King Herod’s palace, the synagogue, bathhouse and much more. Before descending, we stop to take a look at the Dead Sea and the Roman camps which are spread before us.

Weather permitting; we take a relaxing float in the Dead Sea, the world’s lowest place, enjoying the rich minerals offered to us by Mother Nature.

Return to Jerusalem in good time for dinner and have the rest of the evening at leisure.


Today we start the heart of our pilgrim tour of Israel. Our first day in Jerusalem begins today, a diverse and fascinating city, a city of great importance to Jews, Christians and Muslims alike. After breakfast, we take a visit to the Israel Museum with a detailed model of Jerusalem from the time of the Second Temple and the Shrine of the Book, which houses the Dead Sea Scrolls.

Drive to Ein Karem a lovely and picturesque village immersed in greenery, lying in the south western outskirts of Jerusalem. Ein Karem is believed to be the village where John the Baptist was born. Continue to Yad Vashem Holocaust museum, a living memorial to the six million Jews killed in the Holocaust. The museum was established in 1953 and is located at the foot of Mt. Hertzl. We finish the day with a visit to Bethlehem to see Rachel’s Tomb and the Church of the Nativity.

Return back to the hotel in good time for dinner and have the rest of the evening at leisure.


We begin our day in the Old City of Jerusalem. See the Western Wall and the actual site of the Second Temple, the Temple Mount. Walk the Way of the Cross, the Via Dolorosa, to Calvary and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, housing both the traditional site of Crucifixion and the Tomb of the Resurrection. To the southwest, just outside the Old City, is Mount Zion, with the traditional tomb of King David and the Room of the Last Supper.

Today includes a panoramic view from the Mount of Olives, Jerusalem’s highest peak, We then continue to the Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus prayed in agony on the night of His betrayal by Judas. See the beautiful olive trees, masterfully sculptured by time, which are believed to be the same trees under which Jesus sheltered.

Return back to the hotel in good time for dinner and have the rest of the evening at leisure.


Today, after breakfast, you will check out of the hotel and be transferred to the international airport for your flight back home.
