Summary
This is a tour for wildlife and nature lovers. It is a private tour for over 6 years old. Tree Hotel are located very close to the wild animals, for this reason, children under the age of 5 are not allowed at the lodge, both for their safety and to maintain the quiet of the environment. The tour begins and ends in Nairobi in a private Tour Van.
It is a 4 days/3 nights tour to the Aberdare National Park which is about 100 kms North of Nairobi. The meals on the tour are on full board basis. Why the Aberdares? Its Majestic Peaks, the Moorlands and the Intriguing Falls are what attract you to this park.
After breakfast depart Nairobi at around 7a.m and head north through Thika Road to Aberdare Country Club. We are expected to arrive in good time, enjoy our lunch and have the rest of the afternoon at leisure enjoying the hotel facilities like the swimming pool and the beautiful gardens.
You have a choice of taking an evening walking safari in the country club's game sanctuary and a romantic sundowner at the top of the Mwiga hill within the club.

You have this whole day at leisure. In the evening you will take a game drive within the Aberdares National park.
The Aberdare Park is a habitat for animals like elephants, black rhinos, leopards, spotted hyenas, olive baboons, black and white colobus monkeys, buffalos, warthogs and bushbuck. You will also enjoy Bird watching as the park has over 250 species of birds including the Jackson's Francolin, Sparrow hawks, goshawks, eagles, sunbirds and plovers.
You will be back to the hotel in good time for dinner and have the rest of the evening at leisure.

On this day you will have the morning at leisure but after lunch you will take an afternoon game drive to Aberdare national park. After the game drive you will be transferred to The Ark.
The Ark is a tree hotel, resembling and named after Noah's Ark. It overlooks a floodlit waterhole and salt lick, which attracts a host of awesome wildlife and you, can watch them from the balcony of your room.
You will enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure then later proceed for dinner and have the evening at leisure.

After Breakfast, you will check out of the Ark and embark on your trip back to Nairobi.
